Who should attend this course?
The course has been designed for students at the beginning of their IT career. Recent graduates, current help desk employees and those students looking for a career change.
Any experience with any of Microsoft’s Windows operating systems would be beneficial, however completion of Microsoft Exam 70-270 will increase the effectiveness of the exercises.
Duration
5 days (full time)
9:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday (lunch and refreshments provided)
Course Content
The course consists of practical exercises that build your understanding and experience of managing and maintaining a Windows Server 2003 environment, while preparing you for the Microsoft 70-290 certification exam.
Students who successfully pass this exam will be awarded an MCP from Microsoft and will have completed one of the required exams towards their MCSA/MCSE.

Day 3
- Managing the User Environment by Using Group Policy

- Preparing to Administer a Server
Day 4
- Preparing to Administer a Server
- Preparing to Monitor Server Performance
- Managing Data Storage
Day 5
- Managing Disaster Recovery
- Maintaining Software by Using Windows Server Update Services
- Securing Windows Server 2003
